Empoverished, landless, and lower caste children who can not afford school on their own have been getting support from YAUC and are studying in various schools of the Valley Development Commitee where YAUC has openned a new school. Student whose grade level and/or region are out of range for the VDC are involved in our program. These children are also from landless and untouchable groups. This program is the continuation of previous years support,and 2010 saw 30 children get support from the organization.
Sanjeebahine Women's School - A school for adult women and grownups:
Sanjivini Alternate School was found last year to provide the opportunity to grownup women and male who missed their school at a young age due to poverty, economic, and social problems. . There are about 50 adult women and men studying in grades one to ten.
