"Social services are the backbone for the development of a nation"

Established in 1999, Y.A.U.C. has been working for years with the Kathmandu community to help abandoned children with shelter, food and education.  With our staff, and community support, we hope to develop the abilities of these children who would otherwise have never been given such opportunities as schooling, and healthy surroundings.

We are committed to helping orphan children and needy community members develop through education, health safety, and job training, which we believe are the fundamental building blocks to a better society.

Objectives

a.  To help abandoned, parentless, and poor children in Nepal, by providing food, shelter, and a safe environment.

b.  To expose our children to enriching elements of society such as culture, sports, and literature.

c.  To ensure a thorough education through public schooling.

d.  To offer useful job training for elder children, and community members.

e.  To educate the children and community about health concerns including HIV/AIDS, and drug awareness.

f.  To spread an understanding of environmental protection and preservation so as to protect the future of the greater community.

g.  To act as a safe community center in times of need or disaster.

h.  To help untouchables and landless children .
