Edinburgh, Scotland

We spent a day in Edinburgh out of the week we spent in Scotland.  We'd been here before, and I for one can say I prefer Glasgow now.  Last time I was here Glasgow was dirty, and rough around the edges compared to Edinburgh's clean, wealthy, well manicured feel.  This time, however, Glasgow has it beaten hands-down.  Edinburgh is still clean, and wealthy, but I think it's missing the character Glasgow has.  Many capitols have this problem.  Everything is nice and new, and clean, and there are great museums, but the character just isn't there.  The people here aren't as proud, or even unique as in Glasgow.  For a day trip, it was great though.
