Yes, this is the fair city of Verona where you can chase the plot of the world's favorite tragic lovers. And what a city it is! Big, yet quaint. Popular with the tourists, but easily large enough to be alone. It looks like it was never poor, or even middle-class. Everything is painted and frescoed, and detailed. Between Verona and Trento, this was my favorite area of Italy (called the Trentino region).


At Juliet's house, people have posted love notes all over the walls
