Venice, Italy
April 22, 2004 - April 25, 2004
(Somehow, my pictures got erased... same thing happened in 2001. Maybe it's a sign?)

This remains the most beautiful, mysterious, romantic, unique city I've seen in the world. Unfortunately every time I go my digital pictures disappear into the void of hard drives and memory bits. So I have no pictures of this trip to Venice. Too bad, because this was the one city I saw with my step mom, Connie. She and my dad happened to be in Venice when I was in Spain, so I flew over to meet them ($20 with Ryanair!!!). It was nice to see them after 3 months of travel. We mostly walked around. It's a walking city - not a dinning city, so we enjoyed a few meals together, but the alleys and canals are always the highlight. Not the cuisine, nightlife, or "city living". Since I want to have SOMTHING for you to look at, here are some of my dad's pics from our 2001 trip.
