Trento, Italy
May 2, 2004 - May 3, 2004

Very close to Austria in geography and traditions, this university town is Italy's center for outdoor activities.
They've got it all, from water sports on their huge lake, to mountain sports in the surrounding Dolomite mountains.
In the end, you feel like you could just as easily be in southern Switzerland.

We stayed here only overnight, but I felt closest to this undiscovered region than any other in Italy.
The mountains are beautiful, they have 4 unique seasons, and there's plenty to do.
