Tallinn, Estonia
June 16, 2004 - June 20, 2004
After 1 month in Poland I was out of time for the
Baltic's, so I only made it to
Tallinn, the capital. Sadly, my camera got stolen in Russia, so I lost all the great
pictures of this adorable town. =(
This loss is saddest of all. Tallinn was a fantastic city. It's made
up almost exclusively
of its old town, which is on a series of hills, which adds a texture to the
rambling cobblestone
streets. The buildings, culture, and people are all as Scandinavian as it
gets. The clubs are
outrageous and hedonistic, so even the youth have something to do. And
speaking of youth,
Tallinn officially takes over in my opinion as having the most beautiful women
in Europe...
but they don't seem to know that, so lets just keep it between us...
I stayed at a good hostel underneath a strip bar. But
they kept quiet, so it wasn't a problem
(and the eye candy in the front corridor wasn't bad). I met many people
here including 2 sailors
(one guy, one girl) who had many great stories to share, a Swiss father who
decided to bike across
Europe for 2 weeks, and another Swiss guy I went out and explored the club scene
with. Good
times were had, but I'll have to leave it all up to my memory now that I lost
the pictures...
